The residents of Buyosi village in Masfu sub county Busia district woke up in a tragedy of where one of their own shoot himself dead.
Mayende Moses who was security guard working with the JAG security services shoot himself dead after he refused to surrender himself to people.
The residents say that he had a list of four people to kill starting with his father followed with the Lc 1 of the area, his step mother
and another old woman in the same village.
Mayende Moses first took his father as hostage and took him to the lc1 of the area where both now became hostages.
Justine Maya the father of the deceased says he woke up in the morning to do his daily work and he was called only to see his son telling him that he is under arrest.
He said that reason why the he wanted to kill him was that he had sold the land and after him was the lc1 who wrote the agreement and then the step mother who made his parents to divorce and the fourth one was to be killed because she damaged his name calling him a thief.
Wabwire Bernard who was the eye witness says he saw Moses with a gun and when the GSO asked him a gun or to give it police he refused and instead he shot himself dead.
Wabwire Vincent who is the Lc1 of the area says he was also saved to be killed by Moses since he was the one who signed on the land agreements.
Eriya Elepot who is the DPC of Busia says he received a call that there is a man who has put the village people as hostages. He advised the security companies to be keeping their guns at the police station.
