Busoga’s reigning monarch, His Majesty William Gabula Nadiope,IV is currently in India for cultural exchange programs.
According to available information from the King’s office, Kyabazinga will visit several States in the Asian country.
“In his bid to promote and en rich culture, the Kyabazinga decided to visit India given their historical attachment to culture. For the promotion of their culture is a must undertaking without any compromise”, the source said adding that the King will be visiting the birth place of Mahatma Gandhi Porbandar, Gujarat State, Taj Mahal in Agura among others.
Already the King is being accompanied by his own subject also Deputy High Commissioner of Uganda in India, His Excellency Mohamed Basware Kezaala among others.
On his part, Amb. Kezaala revealed that the King’s visit is very timely as India is famous for their cultural endowment globally with Yoga being their most cherished treasure.
The King will also check on his Trade and Investment Minister, Owek.Ranmalbhai Keshwala whose son, a one Sagar has a cultural ceremony.
