Residents of five villages in Mafubira sub county in Jinja district have been left in fear and anxiety after unknown suspected thugs dropped leaflets threatening to attack if they did not give the 20 breasts of elderly women.
Authorities say the leaflets were dropped in the villages of Namulesa,Wakitaka,Sakabusolo,Kaitabawala and Lwanda.
The sub county LCIII chairman Kiganyira Hamis is quoted saying the leaflets are demanding for money and 120 young women from both Namulesa and Wakitaka villages,20 breasts of elderly women of Lwanda village and 400 lives from Kaitabawala village.
The district police commander Rasul Anguyu say he visited affected villages.
Area authorities say other anonymous letters were last Friday dropped in Kifirira and Wantunda villages located in Busedde sub county making similar threats.
