American and Canadian Universities are set to hold an Education Fair in East Africa, beginning with Uganda on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th March at Sheraton Hotel Kampala, after which they will hold the same in Kigali and Bujumbura. These are here on the invite of The Africa Students Education Fairs Organization (ASEF).
Speaking to Mr. Robert Wagubi the ASEF Director, he said that the demand for quality and world-class Higher education has recorded tremendous growth in Africa in recent years and Uganda in particular. In response to this market demand, Robert together with his North American partners, formed an annual study abroad education fair that would pool education experts and schools representatives from world-renowned Universities, Colleges and High Schools focusing on popular destinations like Canada, the UK, the USA, Australia, Switzerland, Hungary, Germany among others.
“ASEF has gone on to host various and a series of student recruitment fairs hailing from Kampala Uganda to Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia and Sudan.
This year in March, ASEF will be hosting its 13TH ANNUAL AFRICA STUDENT EDUCATION FAIR and the event shall be held in 3 East African cities of Kampala, Kigali and Bujumbura respectively”, said Mr. Wagubi. ”This fair is for you; a student or guardian who is planning to study abroad or take your child there. If you want to attain your dream career and create great connections or want to increase your chances of acceptance at your favourite university abroad. This is your opportunity to interact and gain expert guidance on how to search for suitable programs and schools, how to apply and what requirements are needed from student counsellors, educators and school representatives from the world’s best universities and colleges from countries like the UK, USA, Canada, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, Japan and China with Scholarships”, added Mr, Wagubi.
Special offers at the Education Fair will include on-spot student application/recruitment, free study visa counselling, partial and full scholarships from schools for students.
The fair will take place from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and entrance will absolutely be free.
