After a period of 7 years while battling with drug addiction, Songbird Jackie Chandiru has revived herself
Back in 2016, one of the former Blu*3 trio Jackie Chandiru was admitted into rehabilitation center having undergone extensive treatment of drug injection wounds at Mulago referral hospital.
The gold digger hit maker spent almost 3 years at Bunnamwaya Rehabilitation Center in connection with Naguru hospital before being flown to Nairobi in 2019 for further treatment.
In an exclusive, the beautiful diva revealed that it was her natural infection that led her into drugs and it wasn’t her wish or influence of anyone.
“I was born with a body condition which forced me to go for skin grafting. According to the specialists. My cells don’t degenerate easily so if I get a wound, I take a longer time to heal than the normal time. In my entire life, I never knew about it till the situation worsened and I was advised to go for skin grafting so I was so scared that I was going to die or gonna move with several wounds on my body for the rest of my life and this is how I got addicted to drugs”. She narrated while appearing on BaBa TV show dubbed #TheBangShow .
Now appearing in good shape, Jackie revealed that she is now okay and all her focus is on her coming music projects and a new management called Nyumba 256 music.

When asked about her love life, the Quarantine hit maker who had married in 2015 to Dutch National Nol Van Vliet revealed that they no longer see each other and their relationship bore no kid. The Singer also stated that the years she spent in rehab prolonged her love issues and she is now concentrating on music as she takes time to identify a right partner.
